About Dr. Rachael
I’m Dr. Rachael, a board-certified pediatrician and internist with a deep belief in the power of everyday habits to shape lifelong health—for adults and for children.
After years of caring for patients in traditional clinical settings, I saw a recurring pattern: parents were overwhelmed, exhausted, and struggling to care for themselves, and those challenges showed up downstream as chronic disease, persistent symptoms, and preventable health concerns—for both them and their kids. Clinic visits were often too short to do the kind of foundational work that actually changes outcomes.
That’s why I created a space outside of the clinic to work with parents on lifestyle and behavior change—where there’s time to slow down, zoom out, and focus on what truly moves the needle.
My work centers on helping parents build realistic, evidence-based foundations around nutrition, sleep, movement, stress management, social connection, and avoidance of risky substances. Not perfection. Not “wellness trends.” Just clear priorities and practical strategies that fit real life.
When parents feel better—more rested, more confident, more supported—their health improves. Symptoms decrease. Chronic conditions stabilize or improve. And when they do meet with their primary care doctor, there’s often less to manage, fewer fires to put out, and more space for proactive care.
Even more importantly, healthier parents create healthier home environments. Children learn by watching. Over time, those small daily choices shape healthier families—and healthier generations.
My role is not to replace medical care, but to complement it: helping parents do the day-to-day work of health so medical visits can be more effective, more focused, and less overwhelming.
This is physician-led, evidence-based support for parents who want to care for themselves—and in doing so, care better for their families.
